Coworth Park

I got the fried mac & cheese thinking it would be in served in a bowl but it’s actually two small cubes of mac & cheese enclosed in a breading that was fried. The English barn, actually of Scottish design, was built about 1791 and is smaller in size than the German barn. Housed in the original barn frame with rustic features such The Barn as a stone fireplace, The Barn has a full wall of windows overlooking its own outdoor terrace for al fresco dining.

Whether celebrating or relaxing, the best seat in the house for making memories is your seat in The Barn at Rocky Fork. Join us for lunch Monday to Friday and enjoy a complimentary glass of house wine when you choose from our set menu. The Barn offers a delicious brasserie-style menu with sharing plates served from an open kitchen.

For details of the menu selection for these events please click at the Menu heading. Yesterday I ordered the Ploughmans lunch that came with a barn burger, fries and fried mac and cheese, including a drink for $16 – it’s a great bargain and you won’t be disappointed.

I think their menu is a bit limited so dont come expecting a couple healthy/salad options. The Barn is beautifully converted, with really amazing facilities and location. Housed in the original barn frame, with rustic features such as a working stone fireplace, the restaurant has a full wall of windows with far-reaching views across Coworth Park’s polo fields.

The Barn Hotel did an excellent job with the James Bond Themed Party and I was delighted with the service and the small touches that made the event very special. We ordered and shared: The Barn Storm, previously named the Ploughmans was spot on! What a fabulous place to stay and the surroundings are beautiful, there’s even a waterfall just outside the door.
