What do you have your computers doing? (Anything continous).

E.g:

Server machine:

Beta testing area for my site
VMware server for testing other distros of Linux

Personal machine:

TV recorder (uses a schedule) - automatically records programs I watch, incase I miss them
Motion detecting webcam - uses a standard webcam, but starts recording images if it sees anything move
Initial web development platform

Well in my house

2 Personal Machines. One mine one my dads and are both very similar specs.

We have a machine that plays music and the radio off (this is very slow)

My whole family has a computer each which is 5 they are all for personal. I have a laptop which I use for shoutcast.

I run websites on it. I also play games, research things and listen to music on my computer.

I was thinking about using my coumputer as a host for my sites but then I decided it was not worth it.

mine are constantly monitoring Bandwith and also on Photoshop as I come up with my next masterpiece :p
@ebittner using your computer as a host is a good idea providing you have, over 256Kb/s Upstream and 8MB downstream, a higher upstream is important! I would like to see you continue with this plan, Ill help you if you need it.

i have a spying machine is a camera that i put it on my remont control car and with my pc or my mobile i can spy everyone my car can go 30 km an our and i put things so he can jump i tell you if i sell it i wil get 5000 dolars

I have just a personal rig and an old rig from 2001 the old one is just gathering dust i am wondering what to do with it besides from recycling or destroying

i have two, one for backups (old one) and the one i use all the time.

Old one is used also when the main pc crashes, in case i need something done fast.
