View Full Version : Obtaining a new windows xp disk?
I need a new windows xp disk as i lost my old one and need to reinstall, i know i could go to pc world or on ebay and buy one for about £40.00 - £90.00. But i just need the disk as i already have a product key and i dont want to have to pay extra to get a new licence aswell.

You should probably contact Microsoft and go through the steps to pay them the $10 for a replacement disc.

Just contact Microsoft, they can provide what they call 'replacement media' for their software, or go to a MS certified engineer who will probably have a disc that you can install from, assuming you have a vailid license.

You can borrow someone else's disk, unless it's a limited Recovery Disk you can use any copy and it will activate with your product key.
