...as normal? I am sure I used MSN Messenger on my pc yesterday. But today I cannot login to it. I am forced to upgrade.
On my Windows 98 pc I can still login with MSN. But on my 2 XP's I am forced to upgrade.
I've done it on one ok but just want to know what makes it force me into this change???
According to Microsoft, it's a security issue.
See the accompanying news story in the link.

Had the same prob somebody answered me with this...
here is a workaround i found.
close msn
right click on msn icon and go to properties
go to compatibility.
then check off " run this program in compatibility mode for then select windows 2000 then hit apply , run msn and it signs in fine.
Brilliant worked for me so try it!
