View Full Version : A virus was detected on my computer. What should I do?

The virus was ID'd as Dropper.exebind. (no version given)AVG anti vurus it put the file (newnet.dll) in the vault. next step?

my AV app has options to "wipe" or "heal"
wipe is supposed to remove file. I have read that removing this virus can mess up internet connection. Is that only if you remove manually?

use "wipe" im assuming it'll delete the file... cos heal and such stuff wont work...
