...recently changed her msn? password after 10 yrs. The problem is that she can't remember the new password and the alternate address has been cut as she hadn't used that in over a year either! What is the way around this, is there one? so that she can access her hotmail account as she has things in there that she needs to retrieve? I'm not that computer savvy and said I would ask on here for her. She has since got an alternate address but can't access her msn account anyway. What do you recommend? Thanks.

Call the MSN tech support people and get that password reset again or visit https://support.msn.com/ and click on FORGOT PASSWORD.

When setting up her account she should have set up a series of secret questions, instead of choosing to retreive a lost password you should try to reset the password using the secret questions procedure. Finally as a last hope tell her to try the password she thinks it is with caps lock on... hope this helps!
