Is there any way to recover deleted records from a database?

I want to recover some deleted entries from my TALLY 7.2 database, can i recover them, does anybody knows such software to recover the entries(records) not a complete database file.

Unfortunately i dont belive it is possible to recover those deleted records...that is, unless TALLY has a custom feature to store old versions of your data file (backups) which in that case you would open the previously saved backup file to recover those lost records....other than that, there is no recovery tool you can use when dealing with database record files...

Interstingly you might be able to recover an older version of this database file (if you're lucky) using a undelete program....Ontrack Recovery comes to mind...it's likely it might not be able to be precise in getting back those missing records but it probably would give you an older version that had some of those records (or all) depending how old those records were and length of time they existed.
