How can I increase the sound level output of my audio card?

The problem is I already adjust the sound volume of WinXP to maximum level and already replaced the Headset-earphone with a better one but still it's not that loud and of good quality compared to my other PC's that uses the same Headset but different motherboard, my Motherboard is ECS K7VTA3.. Please help me if anyone has idea or a software to enhanced it's level and quality.... Thanks for a response... It's a built-in sound card by the way like an on-board audio card, can it be done without buying a new audio card?

It sounds like you have to purchase a new audio card. You can get a good quality one for $40-$50.. they really aren't that expensive if you know where to look. If you do think about investing in this, try a Creative product.
