I got another DELL laptop with windows XP from office for traveling. It was using by some idiot before I guess…! There are a lot of unwanted things I have removed all. I am in a different location now.
The problem is:
I am not able to open some web sites in IE. When I type the url and enter the IE will disappear and a ‘prompt window’ opens with mssg “please don’t see that site baby” and some ‘funny’ sound.
When I try opening FF’ just the window will open and then it closes in a fraction of second to open a ‘prompt window’ saying “I don’t like FF. So you better use IE”
Don’t know who the crack was using the machine before.
Can Anybody please help???
Is there anyway.. other than reinstalling.. ! I am working from a remote location..! I am using internet via data card.... so downloading is very slow..! :(
BUT..! I tried to remove it "mozilla FF" thru 'Add and Remove programs" ....when i click on remove.. the uninstall window will appear for a fraction of a sec' and then.. that "Prompt window" will appear .. so I am not able to do that also
