Alright, yesterday I was uninstalling stuff to make more room on my computer. I then found that I had no sound! I think I unistalled some driver or something. I need help for finding where I can download a Driver for it.

When I boot up my computer it says "Asus p4000WIN " or something very close to that. If thats the motherboard then that might help finding the driver.

My brother set up this computer ages ago, and I didn't know anything about computers back then. If anyone can help that would be appreciated, sorry if I don't know what I'm talking about, but I really need sound back!
Model number is...

ASUS P4R800-VM

Hope that helps...

first you have to be sure if you really uninstalled the driver.... go to control panel, performance, system, hardware, then device drivers... if there is a yellow question mark then you really uninstalled it...
the thing you have to do is... to open the case.... look at the motherboard find the serial or model number it contains numbers and letters.....
type that on the yahoo search then.... affix the word "driver download"
if you cant find it... you told us it is asus... then go to...
http://usa.asus.com/products1.aspx?l1=3
look for the motherboard download.... enter the model of your motherboard....

try looking also if you muted the volume....
try also the cables connected at the back of the cpu... if it really is connected properly
