...other programs and? give ICE and DHS a bigger budget to work with?
Other programs include welfare etc.
I don't think we should cut school funding tho. Our kids do need every advantage educationally so this I don't feel should be a place for cuts.

No, just cut-off everything, and I mean EVERYTHING for all
the "Illegals", then they will leave to sponge-off someone
else !!!

I think we should....with one more addition....end the war in Iraq and use the funds and the manpower that we have been sending overseas to use on Immigration issues.....in fact, cut off all funding to other countries to take care of our own citizens best interests....

the key words were "our kids need every advantage"
NOT THEIR KIDS. LET THEM GET THEIR ADVANTAGES IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY!!!

All we have to do is cut off welfare and medical for these people and they will leave. Also no more border babies, then they will have NOTHING .
And they will go back to amigo land.

immigration should be monitored and controlled otherwise we basically have a porous border. A cell's membrane is selective because it needs to be in order to survive: it receives what it needs to survive and it expels what it needs to. In the same way, our countries should be ensuring immigration will be serving in that same manner. We shouldn't just allow mass immigration just because we have lots of space and room available. What then when our society becomes overcrowded and overrun with lack of resources and infrastructure? What then? Let's not have to ask that question then by dealing with it NOW.

Undocumented should NOT be able to access public assistance (MA, welfare, food stamps, child care assistance, Section 8, Etc).
However, for citizens, the cutting of these programs could prove truly devastating. There are wonderful families that are unable to provide fully for themselves or their children, and, they need to be able to access help when necessary. Eliminating food stamps, or safe housing will not only leave a generation of children potentially homeless or hungry, but, that will also increase crime, and, delinquency.

I just learned of ICE! I think it's awesome that they are cracking down on these gang members and getting them off the streets. We need to cut IRAQ's budget, get our troops home, and get these gangs off the streets so that we can be safe again. Our Country needs our Troops. Welfare needs to be cut because a lot of people, doesn't matter the nationality, is abusing the Welfare system. For instance, teenagers who are having unprotected sex and not thinking of the consequences. For others who are having sex that cannot afford to raise a child, and we, the tax payers are having to fork out the money to support them while they get free schooling, free babysitting, free money when all they use it on is for themselves and not actually for their babies. There are VERY FEW who don't abuse the welfare system. But still, we need to cut that down tremendously and not make it so easy for people to have babies and babies and babies when they can't afford it.
School funding should go up. Especially given to those schools who lack the academic supplies like computers to help those students who cannot afford to go to a better school. We need to make those less fortunate schools better because all our children deserve the same education.
