Ive looked EVERYWHERE!!! its been talked about like crazy here, but im a musician i need of desperate help
My comp just keeps rebooting everytime i start it up, i cant even access safe mode, it just restarts and restarts, i dont have the original winxp cd, cause my lab never came with it, and i dont wanna loose ANY of my files by doing a system recovery, and i KNOW there has to be a way to get this fixed, so please i beg of you, can someone help me??? :[
the error code it wont let me see cause right when it looks like windows is in the main login the error code comes up real fast then goes away then starts all over again
nope, no warning messages, just tells me that windows was started incorrectly or somethin then just reboots
also what happen was that i was going to a site called "7tools" then my comp just froze and then a message came up saying "run activex" then after it said low memory and stuff, then stupid me i just holded down the power button to shut off and then thats when it started
power im pretty sure isnt the issue, but hardware might be, not sure :/
im a musician with ALOT of important files, stupid but do you think i can just take my harddrive and put it into another computer to get my files?

the thing is, is that i cant even access my machine so i cant even get to my computer to access the error :/
currently i have both the battery and power plug disconneted, and it boots all the way to the point where Windows XP is shown but the black screen part of it if you get what im saying then it flashed really quick the error (or what i think it is) then it start rebooting all over
awesome! can you tell me how i might go about switching out hard drives? cause all i want is my files, i totally fine with doing a system restore and installing my programs and all
on your update 3: i think your right on the money with it being an unstable activex cause i went onetimeto a postal service myspace that had it and it runned downed my comp like crazy
i have no plans on formatting my hard disk, so no worries
If kind enough can someone help me with a step by step instruction on doing a making a slave drive?
BS9999 thanks for all your help, this might be my only hope, i got all the time lol, i really need to get this goin and fixed, also when finally have all my files how might i save them onto my friends comp then put them back onto mine when i restor my system?
ok just give me sometime taken out the hard drive and findin out the info.
one more thing, once i have all my files backed up on my friends comp, how migth i put all my files back onto my comp
(cause i dont have access to thumbdrives) :/
what do i need to connect comp to comp?
