I am currently taking an online course for an associates in Graphics Design.

I am looking into attending a community college instead. However the college that I am intrested in (Devry) only has Graphics with an associates.
I want to get a bachelor's degree. However they do provide Web Design with a bachelors.
I was hoping anyone of you might tell me what the difference is between the two. I don't like alot of coding and progamming but I do enjoy creating graphics and animation might be fun.

Also, anyone know how Devry is for a good learning center?

Well, I'm a Graphic Designer and when I was getting my bachelor's degree they also had us take some web design courses.

Usually with a good graphic design program at a college you'll learn a little about web design but not everything. You could still do some web design b/c now they have programs like Dreamweaver that are easy to use and you don't have to know much code... so that you can just focus on the design.

with Graphic design you'll be primarily working with print items like magazines, ads, posters, billboards etc... and of course with web design it'll just be web stuff.

Personally, I'd say to try and double major in both or at least go for theh bachelors degree and make Graphic design your minor.

Even if you are not too big on coding, it could be very useful to you long term. These days the more versatile you are the more marketable you are, and having web design skills would only enhance your ability to create graphics and implement them into web platforms. I don't know too much about the subjects myself, but you may want to take a look at the required courses and see if they interest you. That's usually the best way to get a preview of what you will be learning in the program.
