with the account itself.? Situation: If someone attempts to message me, the message does not go through.
They receive the message below instead.
"The following message could not be delivered to all recipients: "
Different accounts work fine on my computer. I've tested my account on other computers, networks, and different versions of messenger, but their messages dont get through.
The only way a message does get through is if I initate contact by messaging them first.
IE. I message them, then they can reply without any problem. However, if I dont continually message them, they can no longer message me.
Strangely, people that are messaging from Yahoo Messenger CAN get through without any problem.
Any ideas? And, I'm positive it's not a hardware/network problem on my side because I've tried using other computers/internet access/etc. I even created a second account and it had no problems at all receiving messages. I didnt do anything different prior to this problem happening.
This problem has been occurring for approximately a week.
"your fire wall is stopping incomming traffic, either turn security settins down or off!"
There is no firewall. Even if there was, that would stop ALL accounts from getting messages, not just mine. I attempted connecting on different networks with different computers even with different versions of messenger. Whatever combination I could think of. Other accounts work fine, but not this one.
It really is a problem associated with the account, not anything on my side in terms of hardware/software/firewall
