Okay, my website ranks very well with MSN(check for sports articles). That being said, how come my sports articles page, http://www.raz-sports.com/articles , shows up on yahoo among the top 110 but my sports forums and sports directory pages do not appear? What can I do to improve the articles page for yahoo ranking? Same goes with my sports forums and directory.

Main page: http://www.raz-sports.com

One important thing that helps is to make sure each page has a different title and unique meta tags directly related to the content on the page. If any of the pages on the forum or directory are linked in the content on the main page, those are also more likely to be indexed.

Here's their help page with ranking info: http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/ranking/ranking-02.html

Yahoo and MSN each have differnet criteria on how they rank your web site. Personally, right now Yahoo seems to focus a lot on inbound links to your site, where MSN right now seems more focused on Anchor text in your links. But you really should get some software that can help you analyze your site. You can find some SEO software at:
