How do i use the computer game mods i download??

For games such as Battlefield2, Call of Duty 2, World of Warcraft i know how to download em but how do i install them and run them

I know for WoW that you have to unzip them into the world of warcraft addons folder, which is inside the interface folder if you bring up all the folders within the WoW main folder.

Usually when u download a mod you get it on the form of a Zipped folder, Right click the zipped folder and Extract all files from the folder so another folder then take the folder that contains the unzipped mod and put it into the programs Addon file. For example for World of Warcraft you would put the extracted here : C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns And i think i am okay to suggest that the opther games mods would go somewhere in an addon folder or patch folder or interface depending on what exacly the mod does.
