I have seen that the graphics of Game Boy Advance games for example are not as "good" as those of PS 2 and X Box.
And yet I believe that programmers of same skill were involved in both kinds of games.
So why the graphic difference?
Do those who program for GBA not know how to do it well enough like those for PS 2 ?
Are not the possibilities infinite if you know your programming well ? So why should GBA graphics or even Super NES be inferior to the larger consoles like X Box ?
I do not understand.

actually they can. however the issue here is more than just skills. imagine having a gba with more than the capabilities of a PS3. how much would the development of that machine cost? and can the consumers afford the resulting price of the system? the obvious answer is no. compacting a serious gaming engine into miniature sizes took a lot of innovation and funding. funding that they can only get back from sales. however too much spending on development means too pricey products. so we all must settle for a balance.

Software alone nor the skills required can overcome
hardware limitations A good example is IBM's Deep Blue Supercomputer which beat Kasperov in 97. If it could have been run on a commodore 64 I am sure they would have done it.

Unfortunately it could have taken years between moves

BTW the other guys are correct also
Just had to add my 2 cents oops 1 cent now with inflation
to the discussion

gl in all you do
