What is SEO?

I keep hearing about SEO and everything but I really don't know too much about it. Does anyone have any information that could help me and how to make the best out of it?

I have known one type of search engine optimization and that is of how to use keyword or keywords properly in your content. They can also be used on blogs with your url embedded in hyperlinks.

I would suggest that you join webmaster forums and read... Read seo related blogs like www.seomoz.org... There are some seo videos, you can find one of them at my Marketing Blog (http://www.werebu.com/)... I hope that my post was helpful.

In a nutshell, seo is establishing your sites key words, and building content and links relative to your chosen keyword(s). There are far too many factors to truly do justice in a short forum post. My suggestion is to do as much research as possible and keep building your knowledge.

Seo is the act of getting better organic results :) not much said right? :P
