cnt delete virus file?

there is a .dll virus file in my system 32 folder but norton cant delete it even i tried myself but it says that it is bein used by another program.how can i delete it?maybe the file is important can i repair it?how?

if norton says it's a virus, it probably is... you can try manually deleting it with an unlocker program... you can download it for free

basically it forces the program to "let go" of the file so you can delete it

Have you contacted Norton? Also you could boot your comp in safe mode and select a custom setup that prevents that file from loading.
