i just got a new computer last week. it has windows vista. it seems every day i have to restart it b/c it freezies. i dont know if i should by more ram or will that be a waste of money? i got 894 mb in it right now. and i did a clean of all start up items and closed as many as it would allow. the only thing of mine that starts at start up is my McAfee. can any tell me what i should do?

Contact the computer maker/vendor's customer support and report the problem while the computer is still under warranty. A new system should work right. It may have been damaged or is defective. If that is the case, it should be replaced.

Well I can tell you right now you need more RAM you have 894mb The minimum is 1GB But 2GB is prefered. When I did run it I found 3GB to be great. If you have 4 ram slots get 2x512mb and 2x1gb sticks.
If the PC doesn't have enough RAM to satisfy Vista's intense thirst, you'll be the slowest thing on two wheels. For the record, Vista's minimum memory requirement is 512MB, though realistically that should be doubled.
