windows vista?

would like some one to give step by step instructions on uninstalling windows vista from a new hp desktop computer, and installing windows xp service pack 2. thanks for all info. that can be provided.

Well, why did you buy a computer with Vista if you didn't want it?
I just bought a new HP Pavilion with Vista and Love it. Vista takes a little time to get use to, but once you "play" with it, it's great. It will be the premier Operating System soon.

y would you want to do that? vista is supposed to be better than xp. u should probably make a recov cd b4 un-instaling it. but i think u can just plop in the cd and run the setup. i dont' know about the cd key.
