msn live messenger sign in button does nothing?

When I try to sign in to msn live messenger when it comes to clicking the 'sign in' button nothing happens. I have tryed uninstalling and re installing msn live messenger but the problem still occours. I can sign in on other computers/laptops. What can I do to sort this out?

well if the sign in button is not working use the windows messenger for a while and then change back is worked for me
