This Program Locked Me Out Of My Laptop & Won't Reverse Back 2 Original Settings...

I've Bn Waiting 2 Wks 4 My Recovery Disks & I Still Haven't Received It & I'm N Desperate Need Of My Laptop....i Have Windows Home Xp...i've Tried Everything Including W/hp & Microsoft On The Phone & They Couldn't Do Anything....thx

Okay if you are able to go to the windows start menu then enter in the text box "recovery manager" Click on it. Follow the steps and it should delete everything to where it will be like you just got the computer in the mail etc. (factory settings)

If you can not even log on then When you start up the computer wait for the manufacturer's logo such as dell.Compaq,HP ETC. When their logo pops up then hold down F11 key on your keyboard. Find a option that says recovery or system restore. Let me know how it works

well if you really want you can try installing xp to your D: Recovery and fixing vista from there... but your basically going to have to reinstall windows vista...
I have an hp too, and when vista tanked on mine I used a set of dell reinstall disks to put vista back on mostly because hp is a bunch of cheep (censored)s because they make you pay for reinstall disks...
