wait longer. you should. its not only abt the bugs and security issue. you shld be concern with the software compatibility issues. ive heard of people whose hardware drivers cannot be installed in vista. give it a year or so i believe. just like XP.

well i currently have windows vista and i love it but i know how to work around the pros and cons. but just for a home computer i would tell you to wait at least 3 more months

new computer fine. the only time that its really a problem is upgrading an old computer. be aware that some programs that worked on previous windows systems may not work on vista. Minor bugs but the service pack comes out in fall so its not too long a wait.

In the first of what may become many law suits involving Microsoft Windows
Vista, a class action suit was recently filed alleging that people who
bought "Vista Capable" and "Vista Ready" computers last year have found
themselves with a machine barely capable of running Vista, not capable of
running "the real Vista." = http://www.infopackets.com/channels/en/windows/bills_links_and_more/2007/20070406_microsoft_sued_over_vista_capable_and_pre mium_ready_marketing.htm

Installed Vista and now having problems with my internet connection? Sone of the other common problems with Vista are ISP related. Some fixes that work are:
1) Disabling IPv6
2) Disabling the DHCP Broadcast flag
