Lost all my mail, including directories, help anyone?

HELP this is the second time in one year that yahoo looses all my mail. Does this mean that I have to switch from the provider Yahoo to another provider since it is an unreliable service? The first time it took them three days of sending more questions to find out that they only have a backup of three days, so all is lost due to "Consumer Care".
Has anyone experience that yahoo actually is capable of restoring mail after they lost it and blaim you for it?

1.You must have left your Yahoo account open on a Public or Work or Home PC. Then
someone wanted to delete your messages.
2. You left your Messenger logged in and they accessed that way.
3. Someone has found out your Password and decided your messages were not worth
anything. Then deleted them.
4. Between Yahoo Mail Updating to New Mail and trying to save your files. Your
messages are on another server.
