How hard is it to study multimedia, graphics as MS CS student ?

How hard is it to study multimedia, graphics as MS CS student ?I never had much theoritical or practical knowledge in this field until now.But I would like to take MS CS major in virtual reality and stuff.I heard the courses will be full of programming.can you tell me, the features persent how hard it is or how easy it is.thanks

That's correct. Lots of programming, math and maybe physics. The best thing you can do is to take a look at the course curriculum for the program of your choice and see what types of classes and assignments you will need to complete. Good luck!
