Is there a difference if you use Absolute Versus Relative Linking? There is this article I found at http://www.searchengineguide.com/hartzer/006511.html that suggests to always use an absolute link. What are your thoughts?

Mr Hartzer appears to know what he's talking about. If you are wanting to get spidered and indexed thoroughly, absolute linking is the way to go. But, there are instances where this may not be the desired effect. Best Wishes.

The best advice is to use absolutes if it does not create any problems for you because it is better to keep things simple for the search engine bots and because they make a site less vulnerable to page jacking. http://www.seo-blog.com/internal-links.php

Mr. Hartzer does know what he's talking about. I recommend absolute linking for seo benefits. That way search engines know the exact page you're linking to. When designing a website, you have to cater to your 2 different audiences, the first is your human customers, the second is search engine spiders. Keep it simple and you'll do great!

Absolute is the way to go.
