aim messenger download? please help! easy ten points for best answer?

hi! i have tried to download aim express, trillian and many other chat messengers but for whatever reason it won't download them on my computer. Is there any special websites that will work? i have tried aim official website where you download aim express and it doenst work. All the 'offical' cites dont download. Is there another site i can use that might work?
please please help! if u know how to help it is an easy 10 points.

AIM express hardly works... you need to download the actual messenger on your computer...

I had the same thing happen to me. All i did however was get yahoo messenger (which is cool cause you can text people from your computer) anyhoo, just wait then till the next version comes out or just try to get the normal aim not the express aim

check to make sure your computer has space...my computer should tell you. then make sure you have the right programs to download the quick versions. i believe you need flash player for those. good luck.
