yahoo messager?

i know you all hate to see another yahho messagers question but sorry..
ok here it goes i was on yahoo messanger versoin 8 the new one anyway i tryed to go the yahoo chats so i cant talk to people and such but it wouldnt let me go in it keeps refusing my request as it says in the icon that pops up and this isnt for a specific chat its for all i donno whats wrong?
any ideas

ya, your computer is not compadable for that version, uninstall it and download an older version.
