If you have a sound card on your computer you need to find out which kind it is. Then install it. This might be difficult if you don't know about computer's. Find some geek that can do it for you.

You might need to reinstall the driver, most likely you have onboard audio & not a audio card.Go to Start/settings/control panel/systemclick on the "hardware" tabthen "device manager"If you see your audio device with a yellow or red mark on it, right click and choose "update driver"See if thats helps before you spend any money.
