remote pc software...?

at logmein.com they have software where you can control your computer from a remote location... will this work if you want to control your computer that runs on xp from a computer that runs on OS X?

I use VNC Viewer 4, you can connect to any computer just longs you know the ip address and the port number is open dont matter what there using. Both computers would have to have same remote program installed

Answer to your ? is yes logmein.com will work to control xp from a os x machine. But there are better programs like vnc.
