what are graphics and video cards, when to use them?what are their uses?apart from games, video editing , graphics works... what are they useful for??

It is a piece of computer hardware, called either AGP or the newer PCI-E cards, that sit in a slot on the motherboard, connected to your monitor or two, and even to a TV, in order to enhance your monitor viewing. It can help games, DVDs, and general desktop applications appear better and work faster.

1)graphics card is for playing games.havn't u seen the requirements given on the case of a Game.2)Basic Card will be able to play ur Movies.3)If u r into making Graphics(like 3DMax,Maya) u might need the latest Graphics Card(along with Good RAM,Processor
