View Full Version : Need some help with software I purchased....?

I just purchased Compton's Complete Interactive Bible software. When I insert the disk it says its installing the program and everything works great. But it only works with the disk inserted. It shows the program on "all programs and program files". When you try to open it without the disk, you get a message to insert disk. Is this normal? I was hoping to install on all 3 of our computers but if you have to have the disk every time it seems to be a pain. Is there any way to change this? The disk says it was for Win95, all mine are Winxp Home with IE7. The program works great as long as the disk is running. Any help appreciated....

yes on some software you do have to insert the disk for the program to work.

its there way of protecting it from being copyed, besides being very large.
