i want to buy a Renault megane .. is this a good idea ? Anyone had...

...problems with them ? I am intrested to buy a Renault Megane (2004/2005) .I have heard lots of people say they had trouble with them.Also recently on top gear it came almost last on the list for reliability .Has anyone had problems with one .. think a lot is electrical problems .Thanks

Really dont buy one!They are unreliable, parts can be expensive and some arnt yet available in the aftermarket. That means dealer prices.Leave the french ones alone.But then its your money!

I've heard that it's a great car, with great safety. However, I've also heard that it has some build quality issues, especially in the interior. As long as you don't mind doing some maintence and make sure that you keep everythnig in good shape it should be a great and stylish ride for you.
