How Can I uninstall live messenger (msn) BETA, and just get msn live 8.5, this one...

...won't work for me? I have already tried downloading the normal ones , like windows live messenger, in which I had before. I wanted to download a better one, so i got BETA but it won't even sign in for me. Now I can't get my other one back. Please, help me?

If you go to your Control Panel, click on Add or Remove Programs, and then select the version you don't like. Then just click remove and it will uninstall it for you.

After that, download the version you DO want (probably one you already know works for you), and install it.

Since the newer version is gone, there should be no reason for it to not let you to install an older, and quite possibly superior version again.

You need to uninstall all of MSN....go under your control panel then add/delete programs or manage programs. Then go to download.com and find the MSN you want and install it. This should work!

if you want to uninstall something from your computer, go to your start menu
find control panel
and then look for "add/remove/change programs"
click on that,
look for the program you want to uninstall
then just uninstall it
