When I type in a letter on the yahoo page, a dropdown window shows all the queries that I have typed in that start with that letter. How do I stop this feature, or at least erase the ones that are already there?

Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files, Delete Cookies, Clear History. Of course, this clears out all the sites you have visited. If you have a site you want to keep, add it to your Favorites.

And maybe to block this feature,

disable autocomplete.

in IE, go to Tools-->Internet Options
Go to Advanced
look for Use Inline Autocomplete.
Make sure it is not checked.

Click Tools
Internet Options
Content
AutoComplete
(There you can turn off the feature, change the feature, or clear history)
