How long does it take to generate traffic once yahoo search marketing is turned on?

I turn on Yahoo search marketing at 3pm and off at 11pm every day to prevent untargeted clicks from europe. My question is how long does it take from the time that I turn my account on until the time it starts displaying my ads?

It should be close to instantaneous. There may be replication delays as your listings' status is updated across Yahoo servers, but this generally amounts to no more than 5-10 minutes, often much less. On rare occasions, the delay can extend to 45-60 minutes, though.
