for the iphone touch, you probably can, can't be determined yet since it's not out yet, but for the iphone, oh yes, you can defenitly, theres lots of verions out

No, you cannot. However, there are some websites that you can go to that will offer an online "light" version of AIM. I would suggest visiting www.meebo.com on your iPhone/iPod touch to be able to use a web-based version of AIM on your device.
