my computer wont let me install yahoo messager due to my fire wall settings ?

I've tryed turning the fire wall off...on...adding the program to the allow list on the fire wall everything and vista still wont let me install it, i'm in deployed to iraq right now and yahoo messanger is one of the only ways i can talk to my wife cause i cant always get to a phone, can anyone help?

Just go into your control panel and temporarily knock down the wall install messenger and then build the wall back up
