occasdionally i get the blue screen of death saying stuff like:

drive_irqc_not_less_or_equal

any idea?

Sounds like a Hardware/Driver problem.

Do you use a NIC card to connect to the internet?

Yeah

I'd make sure all your drivers are current and up to date for you hardware. Also check in device manager for any problem devices.

This sounds definitaly like a problem with your hardware/driver,
please give us more info ,
did you recently added a new device?

Oh. Those dreaded blue screens. Very annoying when you're trying to get work done. I haven't gotten one of those in awhile. Anyways I don't remember what hardware issue I was having then.
