Google Talk vs MSN

I prefer MSN. This is one of the only times I preferred a microsoft product/service over google.

MSN wins if only for the greater number of people using it. I also use gaim for all my IM needs so I don't have to deal with AIM/MSN/etc all open at once. Plus some of the 'features' and ads on the official clients are very annoying.

Yeah, but the Windows Live Messenger can let you talk to Yahoo contacts as well..

I use MSN & Google Talk. I prefer msn just because of the more features and the easier look on the eyes.

Google Talk is also a lot smaller and feels like your talking t o a computer not a person.

MSN is what's used over here the most so I don't really have an option. However I have used skype, google talk, ICQ and AIM and none of them match up to MSN.

I used google talk as it was simple and had an easy to use voice calling function. Now skype has taken that over and I rarely use that except when I client wants to.

But their recent updates start to make it run slower, use more ram, and crash from time to time... (when using voice or sending files at least)

I like Windows Live Messenger looks nice and works a lot better than the old MSNs.

But I still prefer Google Talk its a lot smaller & simple.

I just prefer it a lot more, I also use Skype. I have 3 PCs and I only use Windows Live & Skype on one PC.

But use Google Talk on them all just because I prefer it, maybe because it does not open 50 million windows when talking to people and only just opens one.

I like MSN Messenger 7.5 but windows live looks great though someone i know had all their contacts deleted just by installing it!!

Yeah I use Windows Live Messenger 8 - Ive had it all through the BETA stages (was annoying and rubbish then but hey :P)

MSN the best lol.. I have windows live and it does ge annoying having it through all the stages... Not many people I knwo have yahoo and always use msn soo it stays :D
