View Full Version : How does Google PageRank work? Why do I have PR 0?

I put up a new web site last weekend. I know it's not as flashy as most sites, but it's my own work and I thought it was okay. I clicked on "submit url" to google and yahoo so it could be included in their searches.

I checked the Google Page Rank of my site. It has a PR of zero. According to what I've read, this is not really normal. Most sites with ANY content should have a 3 or better. (Am I right or did I misinterpret?)

Anyway, what can I do to improve my PR? Thanks in advance for any and all answers. I never let questions go to voting.... I always check back and pick a best answer. I appreciate people taking the time to help me out. :-)

P.S. The site with the 0 PR is: http://www.superteacherworksheets.com

Hi,

To increase page rank you need to get links from other websites. More websites are linking to your own more pagerank you get.

Submission of articles, link exchanges, submit site to directories are some of the many ways to get links and therefore increase your page rank.
