Microsoft Live Messenger question can you help folks?

In the UK, can I chat via live webcam to webcam for free. As I downloaded software and it looks different to it's Microsoft website. I can't see any symbol like on on the website, and also do my friends need to be online to send a webcam clip.

you can chat via msn messenger using your cam for free. Just click the icon to send your cam to the other person. Your also able to send a pre=recorded webcam clip if someone is offline. Just right click on their name and then send other!

you both have to have the same thing on be on whenyou wish to talk..i use yahoo messenger. but microsoft live will work alsoif its not showing on desktop have you looked under programs or in document downloads.. has for the cam thing for live pic/s they have to be on for recorded just emailor send file to them
