What is your favorite image editing software, I know that the most common is Photoshop, but I do see others out there using fireworks or gimp or other lesser known programs. What do you guys use?

i like using photoshop but i have the trial version so i usaly use gimp

macromedia fireworks 8 ...Its pretty good and so easy to use..

Photoshop is by far the best imo.

I'm definetly into Fireworks- the effects you can do on it are cool :D

mate - photoshop - harder to use (by far) but soooo much better! I was reluctant to use it but now ive got the hang of it, its neat!

I love using fireworks :lol: .. Photoshop confuses me some of the times lol

mate, it is - I love fireworks, and will always support it (i have done on this very forum!) but its a simple fact that PS is a better program - its just hard to use..

Once you know how to use photoshop its as easy as pie :wink:

aye, its easy.. but i've learnt things by using PS, which are available in fireworks, just not ever explained..

i dont think anything can be compared to adobe photosjop CS2... i have been using this software for over 2 years and cant imagine life without it anymore. i have illustrator as well, but it's like a "light" version of photoshop, i really dont like it.
