How do I go about beginning Modding Cases?

I've always been intrested in modding cases, ever since I saw one that looked just like a robotech robot. how would a person go about getting into the modding of cases?

I would say by a cheap case with some cheap second hand hardware and just design in in photoshop and go from there.

Black always looks good with bright colors btw ;)

Go buy an old case, read some modding tutorials (Google for them), and just get started!
