PHP????

PHP seems to be the in thing today
i have learned the basics and all
but is there any site where i can find some practical exercises?????
like dave world used to have html tutorials.......

I think I remember there being a few things here http://www.hudzilla.org/phpbook/ and you may want to google something like "practical php tutorial"...

Your best bet is to think of something you'd like to make, and find a tutorial for that.. usually if you keep making different things you pick up on the way things are used :)

And yes, php is very 'in' these days :) its nice though :)

Yes, I am happy to know that most open source stuff are the in-thing today. Anyway, PHP is a fairly easy language. I think everybody will agree on this one.

Another tip is to download some pre-made php scripts and install them on a test server. Then go through the code and see if you can follow through to see what it does. Try modifying it for your own needs. A lot of trial and error, but it is good practice.
