Hi,
Help! My PC is running slow, and it has a virus. :(
I am not on that pc at the moment as it is to annoying.
Not only does it popup with loads of ads, but it slowly kills everything so after about 10 minutes of being on the PC I can not run a thing and have to reboot.
PLEASE HELP - Everything just says theres an error when I try and load anything and the internet is super slow.
Another thing is I don't have an anit virus and when I try and download one after its got to about 40% its been about 10 mins so everything is dieing.
I have Norton Anti Virus and its a registered verison but its a load of rubbish and does not help at all.

Right,
Go to http://www.pcpitstop.com. Run the full tests (it is on the left hand side)
It should tell you what is up with your computer.
Also run hijack this (http://www.merijn.org/)
Reply with the logs. Also read this topic (http://www.cmforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=44)

That log is full of spyware, Trojans and adware.
I think a format is install. Trojans are not nice and you have some downloads in there. They keep coming back :(

I recommend you download AdAware - its free and its fast, so it should clean you pc a bit so you can run it longer to scan using more advanced programs.

once you've run those, see if you can keep it running long enough to scan using AVG, or NoAdware ... you can get serial keys for that *
