I've been playing Microsoft Live Search Club, and I've been wondering, when does the promotion end? When can't I cash in tickets for prizes anymore?

I don't know of a fixed date for the scam to end. I'm answering this question to serve as a warning to you and others. I played the games on Live Search Club mid-June and got enough points (6,000 at the time) to redeem for a copy of Vista Ultimate. Another member of this household got enough points for Vista Ultimate as well, and actually redeemed her points a couple of days before me. (Live Search Club has since changed the rules so that no single household can order more than one of the same piece of hardware or software, but this was not the case in the middle of June.) The projected dates for the shipment of our Vistas passed and we attempted to contact Live Search Club. I've received no responses whatsoever and the other member of this household to have redeemed a prize just received notification that her order had been canceled due to "unfair activities." However, neither me nor she cheated to get our 6,000 points. Neither of us has been "zeroed" (all our points removed and no longer able to play, as happens to people who have used bots to cheat), and we are both still able to accrue points, and, perhaps more importantly, searches for Live Search. Live Search Club was, from the start, a scheme to accrue searches for Windows Live in order to improve its apparent market share in the search engine business. In each of the games you play, every answer entered creates a search on Windows Live, thusly generating traffic. Now that the scheme worked, it appears Microsoft and Incentive Logic, the company Microsoft farmed administration of this little scam to, no longer feel obliged to honor their promises. I highly recommend you avoid Live Search Club as you are likely to end up having your account or rewards canceled after you've given them search business.
