PLEASE HELP Internet Problem

Hi Guys,

Sorry about this my second problem.

I can not seem to get my internet working on my laptop.

When I try to login to messengers it just fails and when I try to load websites it says can not find server or the page can not be displayed.

But the internet connection is Ok and says its connected.

Please help.

okay if your on broadband try right-clicking the connected icon in the bottom right of your screen (the two blue windows flashing) and click repair - this usually sorts it out - my laptop does the same..

if not, try refreshing your router etc..

Do you have anti spyware ?, sound like you have prob with your browser, try installing zone alarm from zonelabs. com they have a free version, or you could try downloading to from the downloads forum on here they are have the payed version FireWall Internet Security Suite free.

Usually shutting down your computer and restarting your modem and/or router works. That's what I do in the case my Internet fails to work properly.

Although I am using a deskstop computer I also had several encounter with that kind of problem before. If you have a firewall installed, try to disable it and restart again. I'm not using firewall in my computer now.
