My downstairs computer has got 3 viruses, but we didn't really care about it and just kept using it as normal :D

Anyways, we put in 512mb ram in and now it's lost it completely :D

Anyone know how to remove:

istbar.9.at
vb.cc
gedza.a

Unfortunetly they're all embedded files.
If you need me to do a hijack this log- please say :D

Are they trojans?

If they are embedded fuiles deleting the files sounds like your only option unless there windows files then its proberbly not a good idea

 thats bad mate - I'd be tempted to just totally re-boot you're system... wipe it clean.. but not always what you want to do.. losing everything = noooooo lol

can you find out where the viruses are? like in what file / folder? if you can find that out, post it up here and we can maybe see what actions would be best..

caution: if you're at risk of 'opening up' these viruses more by locating them, its best you use scanning software to find them...

you may want to download some trials of premium scanners etc to get rid of them.. AVG has a new antispyware program too - both antivirus and antispyware have a 30 day trial option as far as im aware, and most good ones do too :P

all depends on how long your pc remains stable without crashing etc.. i know what it's like..

We're lucky if it's 2 mins....
Anyway we've got rid of the viruses- defragged it and everything

Wiping it clean's out best and possibly only bet..

I had a few very nasty viruses on my main pc (beware for a mysterious icon in controll panel called "WildPlayer" "TangentMedia" "WildTangent" or anything like that.. it can disable ANY firewall / antivirus and make it look like its still on (even AVG, Norton, Mcafee, Avast - any you can think of basicly).).

This virus ruined my pc and i havnt got the guts to re-boot it.. I have over 45G of stuff I need on there  :|

Big problem guy!! Trojans and worms are really damaging bugs to your computer. You should reboot your system and do a thorough cleaning.

Sometimes bringing it to a computer technician might help, but usually they will always reformat and reboot your system, so all your important files would be lost one way or the other.
